What If I Take an Overdose?

People who take too much Symbyax may have overdose symptoms that could include:
 
  • Confusion
  • Seizures
  • Coordination problems
  • Speech problems
  • An irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
  • Loss of life.

How Should Symbyax Be Stored?

It should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. The capsules should be stored in an airtight container.
 
Keep Symbyax and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your Symbyax as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
 

Strengths

Symbyax capsules are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Symbyax 3/25 mg capsules -- containing 3 mg olanzapine and 25 mg fluoxetine

  • Symbyax 6/25 mg capsules -- containing 6 mg olanzapine and 25 mg fluoxetine

  • Symbyax 6/50 mg capsules -- containing 6 mg olanzapine and 50 mg fluoxetine
  • Symbyax 12/25 mg capsules -- containing 12 mg olanzapine and 25 mg fluoxetine
  • Symbyax 12/50 mg capsules -- containing 12 mg olanzapine and 50 mg fluoxetine.
