Seroquel and Sex Drive

Seroquel® (quetiapine fumarate) is a prescription medicine licensed for the treatment of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. A number of sexual side effects have been reported with Seroquel, such as sex drive changes and erectile dysfunction.
Seroquel and Sex Drive
Seroquel can cause changes in sex drive (known as libido). In clinical studies documenting Seroquel side effects, an increased sex drive affected between 1 in every 100 and 1 in every 1,000 people. Less than 1 in every 1,000 people reported a decreased sex drive while taking the drug.
Seroquel and Impotence
Impotence is a relatively rare side effect of Seroquel. Between 1 in every 100 and 1 in every 1,000 men taking the drug have reported problems with impotence.
