Seroquel 200 mg Tablets

Seroquel® (quetiapine fumarate) is a medication often prescribed for the treatment of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. It is available by prescription and comes in tablet form.
Seroquel tablets are available in six different strengths, including:
  • Seroquel 25 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 50 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 100 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 200 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 300 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 400 mg tablets.
Seroquel Dosage for Schizophrenia
The recommended starting dose for treating schizophrenia is 25 mg, taken twice a day. Generally, your healthcare provider will increase your dose quickly within a few days, up to 400 mg (taken in two or three smaller doses per day), if needed.
Seroquel Dosage for Bipolar Disorder
The dose of Seroquel for bipolar disorder varies, depending on the particular type of bipolar disorder. The recommended starting dose for bipolar depression is 50 mg, taken once daily at bedtime. For bipolar mania, the recommended starting dose of Seroquel is 50 mg, taken twice a day.
