Seroquel 100 mg Tablets

Seroquel® (quetiapine fumarate) is a medication commonly used for treating schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It is available by prescription only and comes in tablet form, in the following strengths:
  • Seroquel 25 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 50 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 100 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 200 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 300 mg tablets
  • Seroquel 400 mg tablets.
The recommended starting Seroquel dose for schizophrenia treatment is 25 mg, taken twice a day. Generally, your healthcare provider will increase your dose quickly within a few days, up to Seroquel 400 mg (taken in two or three smaller doses per day).
The dosage for treating bipolar disorder varies, depending on the particular type of bipolar disorder. The recommended starting Seroquel dosage for bipolar depression is 50 mg, taken once daily at bedtime. For bipolar mania, the recommended starting dose is 50 mg, taken twice a day.
