Litheum

Were you looking for information about Lithium? Litheum is a common misspelling of lithium.

Although it is not a cure for bipolar disorder, lithium (Eskalith®, Eskalith CR®, Lithobid®) may be prescribed to help control the symptoms. It is not exactly clear how lithium works to treat bipolar disorder, but it is thought to affect various chemicals in the brain known as neurotransmitters. The medication comes in the form of a tablet, extended-release tablet, capsule, and syrup, and is usually taken two to four times a day.
