Geodon 80 mg Capsules

 Geodon® (ziprasidone hydrochloride) is a medication that is available by prescription to treat bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. It comes in capsule form and is available in several different strengths, including:
 
  • Geodon 20 mg capsules
  • Geodon 40 mg capsules
  • Geodon 60 mg capsules
  • Geodon 80 mg capsules.

The recommended starting Geodon dose for treating schizophrenia is 20 mg twice daily with food. For the treatment of bipolar disorder, most people start with 40 mg twice a day with food. If your symptoms do not improve, your healthcare provider may increase your dosage as needed; Geodon 80 mg capsules are the highest recommended strength (one capsule, twice a day).
