Geodon 60 mg Capsules

Geodon® (ziprasidone hydrochloride) is a medication licensed to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It comes in capsule form and is available by prescription only. An injectable form of the medicine is also available to treat agitation associated with schizophrenia.
 
Geodon capsules are available in four different strengths, including:
 
  • Geodon 20 mg capsules
  • Geodon 40 mg capsules
  • Geodon 60 mg capsules
  • Geodon 80 mg capsules.

Geodon Dosing for Schizophrenia
The recommended starting Geodon dose for schizophrenia is 20 mg twice daily with food. If necessary, your healthcare provider may increase your dosage up to a maximum of 80 mg twice daily.
 
Geodon Dosing for Bipolar Disorder
The recommended starting dose of Geodon for bipolar disorder is 40 mg twice daily with food. If necessary, your healthcare provider may increase your dose up to a maximum of 80 mg twice daily.
