Depakote Indications

There are several approved indications for Depakote® (divalproex sodium). For example, the prescription antipsychotic medicine is used for treating epileptic seizures (specifically, complex partial seizures and simple or complex absence seizures) and mania associated with bipolar disorder. It is also licensed to prevent migraine headaches.
