Abilify 10 mg Tablets

Abilify® (aripiprazole) is a medication often prescribed to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism, and depression. It comes in several different forms, including tablets, orally disintegrating tablets, and a liquid.
Abilify tablets are available in the following strengths:
  • Abilify 2 mg tablets
  • Abilify 5 mg tablets
  • Abilify 10 mg tablets
  • Abilify 15 mg tablets
  • Abilify 20 mg tablets
  • Abilify 30 mg tablets.
Abilify Discmelt® orally disintegrating tablets are available in the following strengths:
  • Abilify Discmelt 10 mg tablets
  • Abilify Discmelt 15 mg tablets.
Adults being treated for schizophrenia typically start with Abilify 10 mg tablets or 15 mg tablets (one tablet, once a day). If necessary, your healthcare provider may increase your dose up to 30 mg per day. For adolescents ages 13 to 17, the recommended starting Abilify dose is 2 mg once daily.
The recommended starting dose of Abilify for bipolar disorder in adults is 15 mg once daily. Children and adolescents ages 10 to 17 usually start with 2 mg once a day. Your healthcare provider will increase your dosage as necessary.
For treating autism in children age 6 through 17, a starting dosage of Abilify 2 mg daily is usually recommended. If necessary, the child's healthcare provider may increase the dose up to 15 mg daily.
